Suburban Aeroclub of Chicago Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation founded in 1962 for the purpose of promoting the hobby of model aviation. In other words, it is a model airplane club! The club serves the south and southwest suburban region of the Chicago metropolitan area.

Currently, the club has more than 150 members.

Club business meetings are held at the VFW Hall, 17147 Oak Park Avenue, Tinley Park, IL, at 7:30pm on the second Thursday of each month. Prospective members are always welcome at either the flying field or the monthly meeting.
